The Law Society of Northern Ireland provides a directory of solicitors. It says the online list is not comprehensive, so contact the Society if you need help finding or confirming a solicitor.

Before choosing a firm

• Ask whether the team handles the type of Northern Irish legal work you need.
• Mention any deadline at the start of the conversation.
• Check who would do the work and what it would cost.
• Confirm the office and contact details independently before sending money or documents.
