Your saved firms
When you save a firm, your browser remembers its name, Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) number and the time you saved it. This keeps your list available in the same browser on the same device.
The list stays in your browser until you remove firms or clear this site’s data. Your browser does not send this list to us when you open a page. It is not used to identify you or shared with other organisations. Someone else using the same browser may be able to see it.
Protecting the contact form
The contact form runs a short security check to help prevent automated spam. The check expires quickly, is not used for advertising and does not send information to a third-party checking service.
Tracking and advertising
We use a cookie called h4_consent to remember your choice for up to six months. If you reject advertising cookies or change your mind later, we remove the cookie used to remember how you found us.
You can still visit Which? Legal through a direct link. Its own privacy and cookie notices apply when you visit its site.
If you agree, we remember which advert or website brought you here and the first page you visited. A cookie called here4sessid keeps this information, including an advertising reference code, for up to 30 days.
When you follow an advert link with advertising cookies enabled, our tracking service, Netvision, records the click. It sends a reference for that click to our advertising network, Optimise, so a purchase can be matched to a payment due to us from the advertiser.
We do not send saved firms, contact enquiries or anything you type in the search box with this information. We do not use Google Analytics or personalise the advert.
Remove saved firms or clear site data
Use “Remove” on the Saved firms page to remove an individual firm. To clear the whole list, delete Here4Legal’s site data in your browser settings.
You can continue browsing the directory if browser storage is blocked, but your saved list may not be remembered.
